You’ll feel welcome walking into Chirugwaa as you’re greeted by staff with an energetic “Mensore!” (which means “welcome” in the Okinawan language). The restaurant's red-tiled roof serves as their trademark, and you can enjoy the quaint atmosphere of Okinawan’s good old days while dining here. The place is usually packed with local customers who come to enjoy traditional Okinawan dishes like Okinawa soba, champuru (stir-fry dishes), the “kwacchii-zen” (shown in the first picture), and various other meals.
