The Koza A-Lunch Championship is the great gathering of restaurants representing the central region of Okinawa, and they are all competing to be #1!
The 5th Koza A-Lunch Championship will be held this March!!

The “A-Lunch” is a typical Okinawan restaurant menu created by a chef from Okinawa City over 50 years ago, and all started from a restaurant he opened after coming back from New York. The A, B, and C-Lunches became a food culture which embodied the abundance of Okinawa after WWII. The menu is a familiar and endeared concept among locals even today. These one-plate hearty meals are unique with each restaurant and guarantee to satisfy any empty stomach!
The event attracts large crowds every year as restaurants put their best A-Lunch forward at discounted prices and fight for the #1 position. This year’s A-Lunch championship will include various categories, including sea-food and vegetable lunches! Bring your appetite and vote for your favorite A-Lunch!
